Heated Floor Bathroom With Large Glass Shower and Vanity

The goal for this renovation was to make a generous bathroom feel more polished, more comfortable, and better connected from the vanity area to the shower. The original space had an older vanity, tired tile, and a shower area that felt closed off compared to the size of the room. The renovation kept the generous footprint but made it feel more intentional, with cleaner sightlines, brighter surfaces, and a more refined material palette. As one of those bathroom renovation projects where comfort mattered as much as appearance, heated floors became an important upgrade, adding daily warmth under the new marble-look tile.

The shower became the main feature of the room. The older enclosure was replaced with a spacious walk in shower remodel finished in large grey wall tile, a hex mosaic floor, black fixtures, and a recessed niche with a darker accent detail. The clear frameless glass shower installation keeps the space open while giving the shower a premium, built-in feel. A rainfall shower head, handheld fixture, bench, and clean black hardware make the new shower more comfortable and practical without making the design overly technical or busy.

The vanity wall now gives the bathroom a calmer, more finished look. A long grey double vanity, white countertop, square sinks, black faucets, framed mirrors, and warm vanity lighting create a balanced mix of modern and classic details. Vertical wall paneling adds texture behind the mirrors, while the heated floor system makes the large tile surface more comfortable throughout the year. The finished space shows how thoughtful bathroom remodeling services can turn a dated room into a polished daily retreat with better storage, better comfort, and a much more cohesive design.
